Some of the metal domes beneath my cooktop burners have corroded. Are these replaceable?

I’m talking about the little metal domes in addition to the ignition of pilots among the ceramic part of the burner. You are where the gas comes from, I think, and I have some that are rusted. How can they be replaced? Someone told me that I need to buy a new cooktop, and I thought that was ridiculous.

You can buy the metal (I think they’re called the burner bases) to virtually any multi-purpose shop. I have always replaced when I pulled them out of the apartment, for example, so I’m leaving new ones. Fred Meyer, I believe, aim, Home Depot, etc. would probably all have. I bought them each for about $ 8. HTH:)
