Cheapest flights?

Two days ago I was found on the Delta website and tickets from Jacksonville to Milwaukee on 12/18-12/25 for $ 188, I’ll go buy them today and they’re $ 272! How they can go almost $ 100 in less than 2 days, its crazy. I need the tickets to the event for quite cheap if you recommend to preserve itself. My husband is on a single military income, the price of the most important factor.
