The Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, was developed by Gary Grunau and his partners. The hotel opened in 1980.Gary Grunau began his civic-minded pursuit in 1978, when he had agreed at the lead developer for the Hyatt Regency Hotel in West Kilbourn Avenue after first development resulting from the project because of funding problems. Grunau Co. Inc. was the HVAC subcontractor for the new hotel. But he was convinced, was crowned at a general partner in the projekt.de 18-storey hotel, through the revolving Polaris restaurant and lounge, which flourished for several years near the main entrance of the MECCA Convention Hall. MECCA opened in 1974 and was replaced by a skywalk to the Hyatt verbunden.Im 2007, the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee to Atlanta-based company was sold, Noble Investment Group. Noble has retained the Hyatt brand.
