ok, so i have a few questions about traveling to st louis and/or memphis?

okay so today for dinner, my father and I talked about a little trip to a beautiful city thats clos (er) (i live in southeastern WI and I have to Milwaukee and Chicago) many times, and I was wondering if a family of 5 am went to Louis and / or memphis st for like 4 or 5 days, how much it would cost (if you stayed with an average hotel) I do not always money for shopping and stuff! from where I live its 6 — 7 hours one way to st. Louis (driving) oh and the reason why I say “short trip” is great because we cannot go anywhere, because we go to Italy soon. . . Thanks for the replies!

St. Louis run you a bit more than Milwaukee, but not nearly as much as Chicago. It depends on what you are, but I’d say there’s more to do in St. Louis, Memphis, and still is, a few hours’ drive closer – and gas prices, as they are, that may be something check.

Here is the great thing about St. Louis is it’s cheap. We have a free zoo, science center, museum and art gallery. Now you can not much cheaper than that! The zoo is one of the best in the country and there is much to see. They allow you to bring in food and soda. The Science Center is really cool. The Imax is awesome. You can also spend much time in Forest Park, go around and see the building from the World’s Fair. The museum is a lot of fun for kids of all ages. I can not describe really, this place is it does not have such a museum in the country they Caves, a dark room with slides, transparencies, up 10 stories. An everyday circus, an aquarium with sharks, you crawl through. All types of fabric on the outside, a giant ball pit to wonderful things, get airplanes and more. You have to truly check the website to see what I’m talking about this place is just awesome! If you can not afford to go to a Cardinals baseball game, we have two minor leagues in the city that go really cheap. A family of 5 would have no problems, and offer them one! We have the River City Rascals, Gateway Grizzlies, and they are just a short drive from downtown. Of course, when you come to STL, you have got to go see the Arch, the grounds are free and they have a very cool museum of westward expansion in the base of the Arch, which also is free. The tram is not to be warned so expensive to go either early or buy your tickets in advance get, really do it! The cost is $ 7 for adults, and they have several children’s prices, but depending on the age you are looking for about 3 U.S. dollars. There is a McDonalds on the river, from the arch, which is on a riverboat. That’s pretty cool and a family can not eat, much cheaper than McDonalds! There is also a FREE tour of the brewery in the central AB. No matter how old you are the tour is fun and interesting. You really learn a lot about the history of the STL and how AB helped build the city. For the adults in the family, they have FREE wine tasting at the end. Do not worry children have products that taste you too! There is also the Soulard Farmer’s Market, which is free. Situated near the brewery and is a pleasant place to walk in. They have everything there, and it has always been here! Union Station is the old train station. It was revised and has a ton of restaurants and shops. You have to take is also a lake that you can pedal on. It’s pretty cool, and free if you buy something. If you are a little trip outside the city, then take Cahokia Mounds, which is free and awesome. The mounds were built by the Indians and they are incredible! There is also a great FREE museum in the middle of the visitor. There is also Grant’s Farm, which is cool. You are all kinds of animals, and do many things for everyone. They cost only $ 10 per car and everything is free! Again, you can not beat! There is so much to STL for cheap, families can come and enjoy the city to do on any budget!
